Sunny Seas - Kitchen Sink Stamps

The Technique Lovers Challenge at Splitcoaststampers had participants using this tutorial to create an underwater scene with sunlight filtering through to the ocean bottom. So for today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design I have created my scene with images from Giant Coral & Seahorse and Tropical Fish. I also used the SVG cut stencils Big Burst and Layered Fern to create the background using Distress Oxide Inks.

Bluebonnet Prayers

With only a few short weeks left of fields of bluebonnets here in Texas, I have chosen to feature them again this week on my Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design. The images I have used come from Bluebonnets, Trees, Rolling Hills, and Trees. I pulled the sentiments from Watercolor Prayers and an old retired set called Ribbons with a Cause.

Happy 80th

This die cut design was created for a dear friend who is celebrating his 80th birthday this week. Wood working is one of his many skills so I knew I wanted to use Spellbinders All the Tools dies by Nancy McCabe. Also from Spellbinders are the Jersey Numbers. The happy die is by Altenew and the th was cut using Alphanumeric 3/4 inch lower case letters by Sizzix.

I used a woodgrain embossing folder by the Paper Studio to create the textured background.

Polka Dot Boots to Welcome Spring

I have been collecting the Spellbinders Large and Small Dies of the Month for about 6 months now, but haven't taken the time to create and post with most of them. Hopefully that is about to change. I need to stop collecting and organizing and get to creating instead.

This card uses Rain Boot Bouquet (small die for March 2024) and some flowers from Floral Bunny Basket (large die for March 2024). The sentiment I paired with them is from Heartfelt Thoughts by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Spring in Texas

I warned you last week that you would be seeing Texas bluebonnets on this post since they are beginning their annual appearance along the highways and byways of Texas. I am so thrilled that I will be making a road trip or two in the coming weeks and get to experience the beauty of Texas wildflowers. The beauty absolutely takes your breath away!!

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design features images from Trees, Tree Friends, Honey Bunny, and Bluebonnets. This slimline design is made on a white panel where I stamped the tree, stone path, grass, and sentiment. I then added the SVG cut bunny and bluebonnets in the foreground.

Hopping into Easter

In one short month it will be Easter, and I need to get started on Easter cards. Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design was created using images from Clay Pots, Honey Bunny, Spring Daffodils, and Bold Holiday Greetings.

The background was created using blended Distress Oxide inks by Ranger. The rabbit, clay pot, and daffodils were stamped  with Stampin' Up inks onto SVG shapes cut with my Cricut Joy and layered on the Distress Oxide Ink background. The SVG cut files are available for purchase for these sets. If you add them to your cart when you purchase the set, the file for that set will be free!

Wildlife Birthday

For this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps' sponsored design, I have created a masculine birthday card for an outdoorsman in my circle of friends. I included images from Mallard Ducks, Isle of Big Bay Lake, Simple Sentiments (retired), and Tiny Norway Pine (retired).

This A2 design started out with a white panel of cardstock with a Distress Oxide blended background. I then stamped the trees onto the panel and attached an SVG cut duck. All inks on the trees and duck are by Altenew. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Clair Pinecone.
